Assalam walaikum to all my brothers and sisters in Islam, and to all readers, this is your chance to learn Islam the month of Ramadan, the month of Mercy. Allah (SWT) touched my soul this month of Ramadan.
After my conversion to Islam, I started reading the Holy Qur'an surah Al-Fatiha, (the opening), and memorize from our heart in Arabic text with transliteration in Roman Script and English Translation.
Bismillahir Rahmaanir - Rahiim.
'Al-hamdu lillahi Rabbil Aalamiin;
'Ar-Rahmaanir-Rahim;
Maaliki Yawmid-Diin!
'Iyyaaka na'-budu wa 'iyyaaka nasta-'iin.
'Ihdinas-Siraatal - Musta-qiim'
Siraatal - laziina 'an-amta 'alay-him
Ghayril-maghduubi 'alay-him wa lad-daaalliin.
Aameen.
Translation:
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful,
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds.
The Beneficent, the Merciful.
Owner of the Day of Judgement,
Thee (alone) we worship; Thee (alone) we ask for help
Show us the straight path,
The path of those whom Thou hast favoured;
Not (the path) of those who earn Thine anger nor of those who go astray.
